I’m at our good friends house for Thanksgiving. Steven and I are enjoying their families and having a great time.
At 4:25 I was mixing up a vinaigrette…. oil and vinegar wouldn’t do, so I suggested an emulsion, oil and vinegar emulsified with some mustard. I asked for some Dijon mustard and got spicy brown mustard instead. Oh well! I made it work. It was zesty and I blended in more oil than I thought we’d need. Add salt and pepper and call it done!
I write this as I’m watching the fire and waiting for dinner.
